“Living Room” is a room in motion. The space has been brought to life, not only by the dancers, but also by a nearly organic, scenographic video: the ground succumbs, dissapears — the room begins to breath… Through the encounter of human bodies with a stage set that is sensitive to movement, the question arises of who is the marionette, and who is the player — who controls whom? The collaboration between choreographers and software programmers is the aorta, as it were, of the prize-winning Recoil Performance Group. “Living Room” was honored with the Danish Performing Arts Award “Best Dance Performance of the Year” in 2012.
