IMA | lab EXTRA :: The Karlsruhe musicologist Rudolf Frisius closely monitored and offered scholarly consultation on the developmental process of the composition "Strahlen" ("Rays") by Karlheinz Stockhausen, performed for the first time at the ZKM, in 2009. By way acoustic examples, Frisius provides insights into the manner of compositional construction and its electronic realization, and shows the multiple inner references to sound structures of other of Stockhausen's compositions and their further development ⁄⁄ more
