ARD Children`s Radio Play Day
Radio-play-fun for big and small kids
ZKM and HfG Karlsruhe, 11 a.m.–6 p.m., free admission
→ Information auf Deutsch
A festival for the entire family. All kinds of children’s radio plays from ARD and Deutschlandradio. And also, live actions: songs and poems with Ulf & Zwulf and the flying puppet theater by rbb-Zappelduster, children’s song writer Geraldino, new stories from the rbb-Ohrenbär book, Quatschmusik with Erwin Grosche and his Flamingos and cuddly bear stories with Johannes and Stachel from WDR5.
Figarino from MDR Figaro puts up his bicycle shop and the hr2-Domino-Lauschinsel invites you to dream. At the SWR2-Spielraum-Tour and the ZKM-Workshops, participation is the name of the game. In addition, the incredibly funny Schorsch will be running around all day. And those who want to, can get ready for the long ARD radio night for children’s voices with Anna-Lena Dörr. Highlight is the live orchestra radio play at 2 p.m. on the big stage at HfG: Peter Pan. Together with his friend Wendy (Laura Maire) Peter Pan (Jens Wawrczeck) flies to Never Never Land to the lost boys. Peter Pan and Wendy survive all kinds of adventures and in the end, even conquer the piratec Captain Hook (Jürg Löw). The story is arranged musically by the Jungen Süddeutschen Philharmonie Esslingen.
