Matthias Fritsch: "Parallaxe" (2008)

in the ZKM_Media Theater, during opening hours of the museum

Information auf Deutsch

Following its premiere at the “eArts” festival in Shanghai 2008, the video installation “Parallaxe” by Matthias Fritsch can now be seen for the first time in Europe. Viewers in the PanoramaScreen find themselves surrounded by seemingly untouched landscape scenarios, which gradually prove to be technologically manipulated artificial spaces, constructed mirror images of the desire for an idyllic encounter with nature in a highly technological world.
