Interactive Installation: Sono reMorphed :: »SonoMorphis« is an attempt to creatively translate into graphics and sound, the results of Bernd Lintermann's and Torsten Belschner's studies of open systems in the field of computer technology. The interactive installation will premiere at the ZKM_Cube as »Sono reMorphed« in a unique adaptation for two technically innovative audio-visual environments developed at ZKM: the PanoramaScreen of the ZKM | Institute for Visual Media, a panoramic projection environment that is stereoscopically realized through six projectors, and the Klangdom at the ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics, an immersive 43-channel sound environment [more]

Mischa Kuball. ReMix/Broca II (Letters/Numbers) :: The multimedia installation ReMix/Broca II (Letters/Numbers) will open the international exhibition tour of the work of Mischa Kuball (*1959), a light and media artist from Düsseldorf, Germany, at the ZKM | Museum of Contemporary Art. Imagination Becomes Reality. An Exhibition on the Expanded Concept of Painting. Works from the Goetz Collection :: Over the past two years the five-part exhibition cycle of the Goetz Collection in Munich »Imagination Becomes Reality« has considered the extensive influence of painting on the other arts. The sixth and concluding stage of the exhibition at the ZKM | Museum for Contemporary Art will show a selection of works by 49 participating artists and enable comparisons of the individual parts of the cycle which have hitherto come to expression only in the respective catalogues.
