Lisa Schmitz. InVerse Library :: Over the past several years, Lisa Schmitz has developed a unique method for photographing libraries. She turns all of the books around so that only the white paper is visible rather than the book spine. She covers all of the printed papers with blank paper. She erases, as it were, the writing, the essence of the books, and thereby negates the archive, the entity of the library - The exhibition runs until February 4th, 2007 ⁄⁄ more

The exhibition draws on the ZKM_Collection and selected loans in presenting an historical outline of this radical change in the fine arts, music, design, and architecture - The exhibition runs until April 2007 ⁄⁄ more
