Sycamore ist ein in Objective-C geschriebene Framework für die Entwicklung von Audiosoftware auf MacOS X. Sycamore vereinfacht vor allem den Umgang mit CoreAudio und AudioUnits von Cocoa.
Sycamore wird vom ZKM | Institut für Musik und Akustik Karlsruhe unter einer FreeBSD Lizenz veröffentlicht.

Sycamore is an Objective-C framework for audio on MacOS X developed at the ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics Karlsruhe. Sycamore provides objects that simplify using CoreAudio and AudioUnits from the Cocoa environment.
