÷ Tribute to Agnès Verda :: This year's retrospective of the ZKM|Film Instituteis devoted to one of the key figures in modern cinema. In the course of her over 50-year career Agnès Varda has provided the Nouvelle Vague with fresh stimulus and been instrumental in promoting the art of documentary film. Her alert critical mind has made her one of the most astute observers of contemporary cinema. As such, she was appointed along with director, Emir Kusturica, and Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature, Toni Morrison, to the jury of this years International Film Festival in Cannes. We are delighted to be able to welcome Agnès Varda on Sunday, July 1, in Karlsruhe [more]
