Natural Selection investigates the way we deal with racial differences on the web. As soon as the user enters a racist term in a specially designed search engine, he is redirected to web sites that unmask racisms on the web. Yet these sites of seemingly extreme right-wing political organisations and the pornographic sites that seem to fulfil the wishful notions nurtured by racism, are in fact fakes. The software packages Heritage Gold and BlackLash are further attempts by Mongrel to explore the extent to which biologically determined race conceptions are entrenched in cultural and everyday life.
