CTRL-SPACE plunges the visitor into profound agitation: bouncing pictures and twisted information appear on the viewer's screen. They make him believe that the program has gone haywire or that the computer is infected with a virus. It almost seems as though the web sites are trying to evade communication. The artists responsible for JODI - Joan Heemskerk and Dirk Paesmans - refuse to solve the puzzle. But this is precisely the message: perhaps it is not as easy to achieve meaningful communication as you might think.
