®TMARK was founded in 1991 with the aim of undermining political and social undertakings that "operate freely outside a social context" in art actions. ®TMARK's efforts often result in politicizing 'information products' that are generally directed against the dominant paradigms of a neutral distribution of information. For example, ®TMARK has among other things created satirical web sites, has sabotaged children's toys or set up funds supporting subversive and illegal art.
